Reader Giveaway: Frugal Dad Canvas Tote Bag To Three Lucky Winners
It’s been a while since I offered a giveaway contest here at Frugal Dad. I’ve been playing around with a site called CafePress.com where you can brand your own items, and I have to say that of all the things I’ve ordered for my own personal use, I like this canvas tote bag the most–I even had to order two more for my wife and my mom.
The tote bag is great to take along on trips to the grocery store (save a few plastic bags while you’re at it), to the library to stock up on great reads, or even to work with lunches packed, a change of clothes for the gym, etc. The “frugaldad.com” logo goes along with you to remind you to “be frugal” throughout the day!
Entering the contest is simple–just leave a comment on this post and check back next Saturday, November 1st (sorry, you won’t have this in time for trick or treating!). I’ll select THREE lucky winners using the site random.org and ship out your FrugalDad.com tote bag.* Be sure to fill in your email address where asked when submitting the comment so I’ll have a way to contact you if you are a lucky winner. Comments will be closed at 11:59pm the night of October 31st (Eastern time). Winners will be announced the following day. Good luck!

Canvas bags are the best. So useful.
I would love this for my husband, he does the majority of the errands (grocery, library) with our oldest four kids in tow so I can stay home and rest with our newborn.

I’ve always felt bad for using plastic bags so often. Sometimes I use my backpack but it’s not quite as easy to work with as a canvas bag.

Great! My store give cents off when I provide a reusable bag. This may be the start of my first million. I retire a week from now and the high point of the day will be walking the dog. This would carry the plastic bags with the Lab specimens handily.

Great bag! A local radio station did a promotion asking people to do ‘one thing’ to help the environment, and my one thing is not using disposable bags. I always try to keep one in the car so I have it every time I go shopping. Thanks for sharing your frugal tips! Good Luck to everyone!
Love your site! Would love to have one of your totes to carry my Dachshound dog in when we go out. Why should Baby Girl walk when mom can carry her.The one she has now is a little small.
Hi I raise goats and sometimes there is a need for bottle babies. When you have several to feed at one time it is hard to carry the bottles in a plastic bag without the bag riping so I use a canvas bag but it is getting a little worn from over use and washing so could really use a new one. hint hint p.s. useful site glad i found it.

I love the bag! What a great way to help the environment and some stores give you a credit if you bring your own bags! Frugal bonus, even if it’s only a few cents per bag it adds up over time!!!!

I am very consciencious w/ recycling (cans,
bads, etc.)But sometimes, i’d be busy putting my
purchaes on the belt while the cashier already
starts putting my items on their plastic bag.
When i realize that she has done that, I’d transfer the items to my own bag. But then the cashier would throw away the first bag to the
the trassh can. GRRRRR. Maye, w/ a tote bag, I’ll

Not only do I love your site, I love the bag! One of my personal goals this year has been to take away no plastic bags from the store. I carry my own, and this would be a great one to carry! Many times I have left the store with lots of items in my hands, just to not take a plastic bag!
