It is really great to have a child run the “snack shack”. Have them sit at a little table with a cash box and let them make a sign with the prices. Have them sell easy stuff like cookies, juice boxes, waters, sodas, chips, brownies, donuts. If you want to sell something like coffee you might want to do that yourself because the pot could be heavy and coffee is really hot when it is just made. This is a great way to let them earn some cash and it gives them a job.

Another tip I like to use is for visual affect. When I go out to yard sales and am driving by to get a quick look I am looking at different things. When I host a sale I always try to make it look like I have lots of stuff. I have some stuff on the ground on blankets, some stuff on tables and some stuff on racks. This helps grab more attention as there are different visuals to look at. Meaning to much to look at as drivng buy so you must stop and get out to look. I have had very sucessful yard sales. I use some of these same tips to have a sale that got me $1000. They really do work !
